Hall adds star appeal to Callaway Apparel AW21 launch

1.41pm 9th September 2021 - New Products

Solheim Cup star Georgia Hall helped launched Callaway Apparel’s Autumn/Winter 2021 range in the week between finishing tied second in the season’s final Major and helping Europe record a memorable victory over the United States.

Fresh from her impressive performance in the AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie, the Callaway Apparel ambassador unveiled the new collection at Silvermere Golf Club’s pro shop before giving a coaching clinic to female golfers on the driving range.

“It’s always great to meet fellow female golfers and help them with a few pointers for their swings,” said the 2018 AIG Women’s Open champion, who is an Official Ambassador of the R&A, supporting their Women in Golf Charter to inspire more women, girls and families to play golf through their #FOREeveryone campaign.

Commenting on Callaway Apparel’s new collection, Hall said: “It’s full of different styles and excellent layering options which make sure I’m warm and dry on the course. The products are windproof too and have deep pockets, which I like. It’s important that even when I’m wearing lots of layers I still have full range of motion in my swing, and Callaway Apparel really nail that with Swing Tech functionality. This range is comfortable, warm and looks great, too.”

Weather Series Collection

Callaway Apparel’s Weather Series collection for AW21 sees the brand collaborating with some of the most well-known winter clothing technology brands and integrating them across the range of products to create products boasting high tech insulation and waterproofing as well as boosting its eco credentials.

The range features PRIMALOFT, one of the most advanced insulation filling brands which uses recycled material to create high-performance insulation and fabric, while SINGTEX technology offers advanced wind and water repellency without compromising on breathability. Many of the product also feature Aquapel, a fluorocarbon-free treatment that repels water and is kinder to the environment when washed.

As part of its commitment to the environment, every new product that is designed and manufactured from AW21 onwards will comprise a minimum of 25% recycled polyester in all tops, and a minimum of 30% across all of its trousers and shorts. The StormGuard Waterproof suit, one of the brand’s signature styles, already features 50% recycled polyester in the jacket and trousers.
