U.S. based software company Golf Genius have now launched their fully-featured cloud-based golf management software product to the UK.

Enabling customers to provide a tour level experience, including live scoring, printed scorecards and a branded tournament website, Golf Genius saves time and maximizes green fee revenue.

Those interested in the Golf Genius product, which provides the tools for effective management of golf events, leagues and trips, can now benefit from a free Event trial in order to understand how the range of features that the system encompasses, can benefit them.

From organising one-off corporate golf days, to running weekly club swindles, Golf Genius delivers a breadth of administrative functions in both commercial and club environments, providing more value and a greatly enhanced experience to golfers.

Built-in live scoring gives the look and feel of a professional tournament and provides an increased level of engagement for players who have the ability to view pairings, enter scores and check live leaderboards whilst on the golf course, all through the free downloadable mobile app.

It is already providing clubs in the UK with more advertising and sponsorship opportunities, better targeted marketing and increased retention, while golf professionals are enjoying easy event scheduling, personalised printed materials and open registration to cut down event organisation time.

Speaking for Golf Genius Craig Higgs commented, “The Golf Genius product is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of any tournament organizer, and provides a complete and end-to-end administrative solution that enhances the group golf experience, on the day of play.

“Golf Genius puts the event in the hands of the golf club, allowing clubs to build their own tour-standard event within 20 minutes, spreadsheet to tee sheet. By doing it themselves rather than using outside suppliers, clubs are able to maximise revenue, making more money by attracting more society days and other golf events.”

As a cloud-based product, the system is accessed online with user training provided by Golf Genius’ ongoing support network, delivering one-to-one sessions to help customers maximise the product’s functionality.

Nick Lunn, Managing Direct at NGL Golf, commented, “As a specialist corporate golf agency, the software provides us with an invaluable management tool for the event support we provide to corporate golf days in the UK and across Europe.

“Golf Genius offers players a more engaging and interactive experience, with the flexible nature of the system capable of meeting the demands of our clients.”

Every facet of the Golf Genius system comes as standard for a simple annual subscription, providing unlimited usage and multiple event setups throughout the year and includes an online portal function that enables sponsors, spectators, friends and family to access content in real-time.

Based in the United States with its headquarters located in Philadelphia, Golf Genius has a total of 27 employees worldwide, including a team of experienced software engineers and a dedicated sales team servicing users in over 52 countries.

The Golf Genius product is used globally by over 130 clubs and resorts. Clubs interested in improving their golf day experience and green fee revenues can now take advantage of a free Golf Genius demonstration by contacting Craig Higgs at craig@golfgenius.com
