The Spring Summer 2014 collection from Glenmuir, the renowned Scottish golf clothing brand, has received high praise for style, substance and sizing from some of the leading Professional Retailers in the UK and European golf trade.

Following two difficult years due to poor weather and economic challenges within the golf market, the savvy and selective golf retailer is looking to work with brands that offer the best customer service and whose products are of the highest quality in both style and design.

Matthew Eagle, Glenmuir’s UK Sales Director, explains: “Following a reorganisation and reinvestment in our Garment Technology Department we have ensured that the Glenmuir Spring Summer 2014 collection is of the most supreme quality for style, design and fit which has received high praise from a number retailers with sales on the increase in prestigious outlets such as Gleneagles, The Belfry, The K Club and Royal Porthcawl. Combining this outstanding design element with the company’s industry leading stock service and embroidery programme, we are confident that Glenmuir are the perfect playing partner when it comes to stocking golf apparel”.

Glenmuir’s Export Sales Director, Graham Hayward, added: “The designs, colours and fit for 2014 have been very well received by customers new and old across Europe and our further afield export markets. The Glenmuir brand now sells from Barbados in the West through to Australia in the East and from Iceland down to South Africa. The Glenmuir brand caters for a wide variety of tastes in golf clothing and the need for playing the game in various climates.

“The return of our classic Lambswool and Cashmere garments being produced in our own Scottish facilities has been warmly welcomed in the marketplace allowing the Glenmuir brand to further compete for the most discerning consumer across a broad range of products, sizes and colours.”

Glenmuir’s strong involvement in the 2014 Ryder Cup with the brand designing and supplying the European Team sweaters and shirts along with the Official Ryder Cup Fanwear Collection for supporters has enabled the brand to gain tremendous product exposure particularly within World Duty Free shops at the London, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports and the new Glenmuir concession at the top of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
