Galvin Green launches 2022 Part One apparel collection

Galvin Green‘s new apparel collection for 2022 focuses on offering complete freedom of movement in the swing and a greater choice of sustainable, long-lasting garments designed to enhance performance in all weather.

Boasting the biggest choice of sustainable apparel on the market, the Swedish brand’s new range comprises 39 new garments in a wide selection of bold colours and differing size options. It also features multiple layering combinations to ensure golfers can perform at their best whatever the elements.

“Unrestricted freedom is at the heart of every golfer’s game and Galvin Green has matched that ethos with a dedication to create garments crafted from technical fabrics that maintain the highest standards in environmental protection,” said Galvin Green CEO Nicholai Stein. “When the mind and body are free, that’s when we are at our most productive and confident. The Part One collection allows all golfers to feel that sense of freedom, whatever the playing conditions.

Elite performance is built into every detail of each garment in the Part One range and that focus is balanced perfectly with a holistic approach to sustainability, thanks to the use of Bluesign-approved fabric or materials certified by OEKO-TEX 100, from buttons to thread.

Armstrong Paclite jacket

Men’s Collection

Headlining the new men’s GORE-TEX waterproof jacket range is the sporty tri blend ARMSTRONG Paclite. Available in five bright colourways the jacket weighs in at just 300 grams (in size medium) and features stretch technology and shaped sleeves to allow for a full range of movement during the golf swing. Constructed using Bluesign-approved fabric, the 100% waterproof and windproof jacket also incorporates an adjustable chest and front pockets for increased comfort. The ARMSTRONG is one of 23 GORE-TEX waterproof jackets available in the Part One collection.                                                           

Extending the versatile INTERFACE-1 range, the LYLE is windproof and water repellent while maintaining excellent breathability. The stretchy Bluesign-approved fabric is 100% polyester with a PU membrane, An elastic drawstring at the hem provides a comfortable fit. Available in five sizes from S-3XL, the LYLE comes in both standout Navy/White and Sharkskin/Black options.

Lyle windproof and water-repellent jacket

The DAXTON is the newest member of the popular INSULA sweater range that won the prestigious 2021 Sports Technology Award for Sustainability. Made from recycled plastic bottles, the sweater delivers incredible breathability and comfort thanks to the Quickdry fabric. The soft and stretchy sweater comes in eight vibrant colours, including the recently created Golf Green tone.

Daxton Insula sweater

The VENTIL8 PLUS shirt range boasts three new designs. The MATHEW shirt features a modern fractured pattern design while the floral print of the MALIK and pixel design of the MACK round out the collection. The entire range offers UV 20+ protection and incorporates Quickdry stretch fabric for a comfortable fit.

Women’s collection

The women’s GORE-TEX waterproof range sees the 100% waterproof and windproof AILA Paclite jacket offering great protection from the elements when paired with the new  ALINA Paclite trousers to create the ultimate lightweight rain suit. Both made from stretchy Bluesign-approved fabric, the jacket has shaped sleeves for easy movement, a 2-way front zipper and front pockets. It comes in four colourways and sizes XS-XXL. Weighing only 320g, the trousers are designed for on-course comfort thanks to adjustable leg width and an elasticated waist for a perfect fit. An abrasion-resistant split inseam and leg hem guarantee unrestricted freedom in the golf swing and durability. 

Lorelle jacket

The sleek and sophisticated LORELLE jacket is the latest offering from the women’s INTERFACE-1 range. Packed full of features, the versatile jacket doesn’t compromise on style, providing an elegant look both on and off the golf course. Windproof and water repellent, the jacket has a level 3 warming effect – the highest available from Galvin Green in the INTERFACE-1 category. Extremely breathable and perfect for layering with other garments, the LORELLE is available in six sizes and two distinct colours.

The DONNA hoodie spearheads the extensive INSULA collection. With a drawstring at the base of the hood and front pockets, the hoodie is as stylish as it is functional. Soft and stretchy Quickdry fabric offers perfect on course comfort while being extremely breathable and warm.

Marissa shirt

A key focus in the VENTIL8 PLUS garments is the trendy patterned combinations on offer to women golfers. The extremely breathable MARISSA shirt and MARIE skort deliver an eye-catching look in the Blush Pink/Black/White and Surf Blue/Navy/Pink colour combinations. Providing UV 20+ protection, the OEKO-TEX 100 certified garments ensure golfers can remain cool thanks to the light, soft and comfortable feel to the outfit.

The full Part One collection is completed by a selection of shorts and skorts, SKINTIGHT thermal garments, plus complementary accessories such as caps, belts and bandanas.

Junior Collection

An expanded junior collection features the new VENTIL8 PLUS shirt RUBEN, available in two striking graphic colours, the soft and stretchy RAZ INSULA sweater, and the fully waterproof ROBERT GORE-TEX jacket.
