FootJoy Introduces All New FJ Boot

12.36am 8th June 2010 - New Products

FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf, is pleased to announce the launch of a new addition to the FJ product line, the FJ Boot. Designed to withstand the toughest conditions that the elements can throw at a golfer on the golf course, this high-quality boot – designed specifically for the committed golfer – will be available from October in golf shops across Europe.

Featuring a full-grain leather upper with contrast and tonal stitching for comfort with a premium look, the FJ Boot will be available in both men’s and women’s styles. A ProofGuard™ Membrane combines with a bellows tongue construction to ensure maximum waterproof performance without sacrificing comfort or style. A lightweight EVA midsole provides outstanding cushioning whilst a DuraMax™ rubber outsole offers traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. The women’s boot is finished off with a warm and comfortable fleece lining.

“Golfers want to be able to play golf in any weather and the FJ Boot enables them to take to the course no matter what the elements throw at them,” commented Richard Fryer, FootJoy’s European Marketing Manager. “There is a strong demand for golf-specific footwear to combat the most severe weather conditions, and we have responded to that demand with the launch of this fantastic product”.

The FJ Boot will be available from October in sizes 7-11 (including half sizes) for men and 4-8 (including half sizes) for women.

Whether being worn by the likes of Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington, Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter on the Professional Tours, or trusted by club golfers of all abilities, FootJoy remains the shoe of choice for golfers across the world.
