12.27pm 23rd September 2015 - New Products

ECCO CAGE 5 MRDanish company ECCO – a leading global manufacturer of innovative footwear – announces the launch of ECCO Cage, a cleated golf shoe featuring a fully-integrated DiP wrap system that promotes superior walking comfort immediately out of the box and for every step thereafter.

Leveraging its more than 50 years setting the standards for premium quality and craftsmanship, ECCO developed ECCO Cage to promote increased stability, flexibility and cushioning. Its properties include:

“The ECCO Cage further advances our unrivalled position as the key innovator in golf footwear,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO. “It is a shining example of the distinctive design and performance that every ECCO customer has come to expect.”

To ensure a pleasant walk round after round, ECCO Cage is fashioned from lightweight Caldera performance leather. Stain-resistant and easy-to-clean, this soft, supple full-grain cow hide is also exceptionally water-repellent via the proprietary ECCO HYDROMAX™ treatment.

Showcasing a lightweight, low-to-the-ground construction and the CHAMP® SLIM-Lok cleat system, ECCO Cage is crafted at ECCO-owned factories using the Direct-injection Process. This bonds the upper and outsole unit, creating a one-piece shoe without the use of glue or stitching. Benefits include a firm, water-tight seal. RRP: £170.00

Endorsed by Tour stars worldwide, the ECCO Golf collection is worn in competition by Fred Couples, Ernie Els, Graeme McDowell, Thomas Bjørn, Marcel Siem, Thongchai Jaidee, Will Wilcox, Caroline Masson, Jennifer Johnson, Sadena Parks, Kendall Dye, Line Vedel Hansen, Pernilla Lindberg, Therese Koelbaek, Sophie Giquel-Bettan, Liz Young, Sally Watson, Linda Wessberg and Nanna Madsen, among others.
