Bunker MentalityBunker Mentality, one of Europe’s most fashionable golf brands, is proud to present its Spring / Summer 2015 collection.  Success overseas has occupied the company in recent seasons, making SS15 the first collection in several years that will be fully available in the UK retail market

The SS15 range is the most balanced to date and can be summed up succinctly as a reflection of modern British Golf.  Alongside the well known ClubHouse lifestyle collection sits its core on course collection Branded Fundamentals and, for those who like their technical clothing, there is CMax.  All of the designs are confident, use dynamic colours, graphic energy and are packed with eye catching details.

“We create and design our collections in our office here in Nottinghamshire.  Design always leads everything we do and attention to detail in product development creates special points of interest on each garment. For us style is important, playing golf in style is a form of self expression so we work hard to create clothing that expresses our mentality,” comments Creative Director, Robert Hart.

Branded Fundamentals

There is no such thing as standard when it comes to the core for Bunker Mentality.  At first glance this collection is quite traditional, but on closer examination everything has had the Bunker treatment.  The core navy jacket zings with a two tone pink / aqua zip, whilst the cotton pique polo benefits from pink/aqua tipping and a new silicone badge.

The trousers are the epitome of #bunkerstyle.  Not only are they made from a luxurious and water resistant fabric, they feature pin tucks to the knee, 3 needle stitching on the seams and the Bunker stripe identifying details on the belt loop and pocket.  It’s hard to imagine a better golf trouser.

The Kilo polo, which has been the company’s best seller for the last 7 years, has been updated for SS15 with a camouflage waist band.  The brand’s iconic female ambassador ‘Stella’ still stands proudly on this 100% polyester favourite whilst the ‘Bunker’ logo is flipped upside down on the back to great effect to express the brands unique mentality.

A clear indication of the company’s evolution is their C-Max range. This is technical wear that does not compromise on style and performs equally well. New for SS15 is a fun Geometric camouflage print, a unique racing loop stripe polo and a water resistant trouser.

The ever popular Golfadelic designs also return with a 2015 upgrade to a stunning, rich pattern alongside GolfFellas, a new polo with fold down collars and 1 button placket harking back to the style of 1950s rat pack style.

‘Golf Lifestyle’

This is the foundation from which the brand exploded. Golfcentric t-shirt slogans show the designers’ irreverent sense of humour. New mottos for 2015 include ‘Good for the Soul’ and ‘Beer O’Clock’ as Bunker is a brand that strongly believes the ‘great game’ is about having a good time with friends.  On their polo range there is a stunning Par 2 Eagle motif to look out for and some great new textures on appliqués and badges including the use of felt appliqué.

Bunker 5’0 with its specially designed print, in homage to the classic 80’s TV show, gives the Hawaiian shirt a golf overhaul and Blue Skies and 55s in three colourways features a bold undercollar logo which is characteristic of brand’s development in recent years.

Fair-weather or not there are plenty of stylish options top suit.  If weather protection is the key then plump for the shower-proof lightweight jacket with a trendy faux zip and zip cuff detail.  The grey marl cotton jacket with the ‘Hit it Hard’ emblazoned in orange is perfect for cooler days on or off the course and for those with a penchant for a sporty look, check out version with aertex side panels and yolk and a hidden two tone zip.
