A budding partnership is developing between one of the best established names in golf and one of the newest. Crown Golf, Europe’s largest golf club owner and operator, recently took delivery of The Extra 20 Yards® to its golf academy at Pine Ridge Golf Centre in Surrey and the professionals that have been working with it are delighted with the results.
The Extra 20 Yards® ; a unique piece of strength training equipment designed to specifically target the core muscles involved in the golf swing, has proven to be a great success since its launch in August. With an impressive roll call of supporters that includes top UK coaches, fitness experts and Tour players it was a natural progression to work with one of the top names in golf academy’s, Crown Golf.
Having agreed to a trial of The Extra 20 Yards® in October, the team of PGA professionals at Pine Ridge were keen to see how The Extra 20 Yards® could add value to their lessons and become an integral part of the training program they devise for their pupils.
From the moment the machine was installed PGA Advanced Professional Greg Brodie could see how The Extra 20 Yards® would work in tandem with his lessons and after 2 months of using the machine he was still as impressed.
