1.59pm 6th February 2024 - New Products

Callaway Apparel has revealed details its new line of golf apparel for men and women for Autumn/Winter 2024.

MEN’S COLLECTION

There are a host of standout new introductions in the Men’s range including the thermal Textured Pullover, a staple wardrobe piece for the AW season.

With a brushed interior and striking outer look, plus four-way stretch, it benefits from Callaway’s proprietary Swing Tech Technology for restriction-free movement during the golf swing.

A new Vest with Sherpa Interior is both wind and water resistant and benefits from a four-way stretch softshell outer and a Sherpa fleece lining. For colder days, the new Dobby Jacket with Sherpa Interior is the perfect foil for a biting wind out on the golf course.

Wind and water resistant, it offers a four-way stretch softshell outer with a Sherpa fleece lining, zippered chest pocket and adjustable Velcro cuffs and toggle hem.

Aquapel Premium Hoodie

Offering a luxurious feel, a new Aquapel Premium Hoodie, showcases an Aquapel finish, thermal brushed inner fabric, and Swing Tech Technology, while the Premium Full Zip Wind Jacket (water and wind resistant) is a classy addition to the AW line.

For all-weather performance, 2024 also sees a hugely upgraded StormLite II Waterproof Rain Suit, a lightweight waterproof solution with a jacket showcasing Swing Tech Technology. Aquaguard pockets, Velcro cuffs, two-way zipper, chin guard and adjustable toggle hem are all strong features. The accompanying trousers feature three-layer knit fabric with stretch and comfort stretch waistband.

Commenting on the launch of AW24 for men, Helen Willsmer, Brand Director at Callaway Apparel, said: “This is a very focused and succinct collection for men which we are extremely proud of. We are purposefully offering retailers a very tight product line as we do not wish to burden them with huge volumes of stock. It’s also a beautiful, instantly appealing, and very easy collection to merchandise in-store.”

Aligned to the hardware brand, a host of industry-leading key technologies sit at the heart of the products within its COLD. WIND. and RAIN. sub-categories.

COLD. offers PrimaLoft functionality at the very highest level. It’s also water-repellent and breathable. This insulation filling protects the body from moisture and keeps you dry and warm. In addition to optimum thermal output in all conditions, PrimaLoft® simultaneously ensures a low weight without increasing volume.

WIND. garments feature SINGTEX STORMFLEECE, a breakthrough technology for the textile market that not only helps shield the wearer from biting autumn and winter chills, but also remains extremely lightweight and eco-friendly too.

RAIN. Nanotex Aquapel uses eco-conscious water repellency technology that works at the molecular level of a fabric’s fibres, creating ‘whiskers’ that change the surface tension of the fabric, making it highly-resistant to water.

WOMEN’S COLLECTION

The women’s collection for AW ’24 has a focus on sporty designs, feminine style and on-course thermal performance.

Lightweight, on-trend WeatherSeries layering is a strong feature in the new range, with technology stories, fabric innovation with premium soft yarns, and fine-detailing flowing through every garment.

A host of layering pieces includes a Chev PrimaLoft Vest, in a new rumba red coloura full-zip vest with a PrimaLoft fill and a Chev-pattern engineered into the quilting. Stretch knitted side panels, contrast silver zip with floated Chev zipper-pull, zip side pockets and drop-tail hem make this a staple for any active golfer.

The new Lightweight Knit Heathered ¼-Zip Top with Aquapel is a brushed back jersey pullover with flattering Princess seams to ensure unrestrictive movement, also helped by Swing-Tech Technology.

Full Zip Rib Texture Hoodie

For those with a flair for fashion, the new Full Zip Rib Texture Hoodie Sweater constructed from ribbed cotton is a beautiful addition to the collection. Front kanga pockets and elongated cuffs create a striking look.

In the waterproof category, women can now arm themselves against the worst winter weather thanks to the introduction of the new StormLite Liberty Rain Suit (jacket and trousers sold separately). Features include Aquaguard pockets, Velcro cuffs, two-way zipper, chin guard and adjustable toggle hem. The Trousers are constructed with three-layer knit fabric with stretch and comfort stretch waistband for perfect on-course performance.

Helen Willsmer said: “The female game continues to grow at pace and our collections for women are fully aligned to the wants and needs of the active golfer. Research has also shown that women’s golf apparel has greater customer appeal when it has a strong ‘crossover’ look – it feels as good in a lifestyle situation as it does on the golf course – and we have recognised this in AW24.”
