Bobby Jones is proud to introduce its Twenty Fourteen Spring Summer apparel collection. The hallmark of what will be the company’s 25th Anniversary Collection is quality. It honours the legacy of the brand whilst catering to modern tastes, resulting in a collection that confirms the adage that fashion fades, but style endures.

Simplicity is the key with Bobby Jones. For men, there are ten key styles that feature in numerous colours across five colour stories. The fabric quality in each of these designs is exceptional. A 120’s two ply Pima cotton from Peru which is a soft, fine cotton with a beautiful handle, features in a plain and a Watson stripe polo.  With a tailored cut and collars that have an in-built support these are billed as Bobby Jones’ ‘Greatest Shirt of All’.

New for Twenty Fourteen is a 100% mercerised Egyptian cotton that is bound to impress.  In knitwear, Bobby Jones is proud to be the only golf company to be able to offer a specialist 100% Pima cotton from Peru. V-Neck styles in both long sleeve and vest designs are available in 11 colours. With traditional and bold colours on offer there will be a perfect match for club or society cresting.

With traditional cotton at the heart of the collection many will be surprised and impressed by Bobby Jones’ XH20 performance fabric. It is arguably the strongest performance fabric in golf as it combines numerous attributes in one: UV protection; non-iron; moisture wicking; and anti-microbial properties. Whilst the fabric works hard, the quality of the polo designs remain steadfast with metallic colour co-ordinated buttons, tonal Bobby Jones man logos and a new XH20 logo on the placket.

Also offered in XH20 is the water resistant ¼ zip RTJ pullover. A stretch panel to the reverse allows for freedom of movement and interesting contrast pocket zip colour detail given it a youthful appearance.  Look out for the handy in pocket eye glass cleaner.

The best selling ¼ zip Leaderboard Pullover has been reinvented for the 25th Anniversary year. Modernised with rib panels to the side, the Bobby Jones signature logo on the reverse, and a range of contrast zips colours, the new look is a perfect example of the brand’s coming of age, presenting erstwhile favourites with a contemporary twist.

For Ladies there is Clover by Bobby Jones, which takes its name in recognition of the lucky charm that Robert Tyre Jones Jr carried in his pocket.  Born on St Patrick’s Day, Bobby’s four leaf clover charm now features as a discreet logo on all of the ladies range.

The Ladies Collection can be summed up in one word: Chic.  Style comes in the form of deep plackets, shoulder ruching, hidden pockets, pres studs on skorts and an extensive range of button designs from bling to tonal and matt gold.  As well as its good looks, the collection benefits from top quality cotton and technical fabrications.

Pinks are teamed with black and Sugar Snap green in Paris Au Printemps and in Portofino you have a fresh blend of aqua, blue, guava and yellow.  Garment highlights include an exclusive paisley print in both trouser and skort, a tailored Spring Anorak in aqua or yellow and a fun reversible zig zag sweater.

Not many apparel brands have ever reached their 25th birthday, but when the everyday challenge is to maintain the character, integrity, respect, consistency and unwavering pursuit of excellence that has born the brand, the result is longevity.  The Spring Summer Twenty Fourteen Bobby Jones Collection takes all of its experience and with a little reinvention delivers a contemporary, aspirational apparel range fit for today’s market.
