FootJoy expands HydroKnit range for AW20 apparel

11.58am 28th September 2020 - New Products

Following the success of last season’s HydroKnit waterproof sweater, which feels like a mid-layer yet performs like a waterproof jacket, FootJoy has expanded the Hydro Knit range for its Autumn/Winter 2020 Apparel range, with more colour options and the addition of HydroKnit trousers (RRP £160), a waterproof, tapered fit design that offers comfort, style and protection from the elements.

Fashioned from a three-layer bonded knit fabric, HydroKnit boasts a 15,000mm waterproof rating and is also an incredibly breathable, with a 15,000g/sqm Moisture Permeability rating, making it ideal for coping with the worst of winter weather conditions. The jacket is available in black with charcoal, navy with kelly, and sapphire with geranium, and has an SRP of £180.

Both the Men’s and Women’s HydroKnit ranges will introduce new colour options with the black, navy and charcoal styles available in the Men’s pullover (£180), accompanied by a choice of black or navy trousers (£160). The Women’s Full-Zip Jacket option will be available in both red and navy (SRP £200). All FJ waterproofs carry a three-year warranty.

Men’s HydroKnit Rain Shirt

Joining HydroKnit to headline the AW20 range is HLV2 Jacket (£170), the second generation of HydroLite. In keeping with the industry trend of using more lightweight, stretchy and versatile fabrics, the 2.5-layer construction of HLV2 is 15% lighter than its predecessor, with 20% more stretch. FJ’s complete rainwear offering also includes the HLV2 Trousers (£120), DryJoys Tour LTS Jacket (£200) and Trousers (£160) and DryJoys Select Jacket (£360) and Trousers (£280), providing options to suit every golfer.

With multiple outerwear styles available, FJ have launched a new ‘Outerwear Finder’ tool on the website to help golfers select the right suit for their game, depending on their budget and performance needs.

FJ’s Hybrid Jacket provides a barrier to the elements with quilted woven panels and stretch fleece jersey lining to help retain body heat, whilst the water resistant DWR finish protects golfers during light rain (SRP: £130), with the FJ Hybrid Vest (£120) offering a sleeveless option for thermal layering with unrestrictive movement through the swing.

The new Tour proven Chill-Out Xtreme Fleece Pullover features an exceptionally soft fleece lining to ensure comfort and warmth for players exposed to the cold out on the course (£110).

FJ’s Wool Blend Tech Full-Zip Sweater’s exterior shell lining provides added warmth and protection from chilling winds (£120).

A stylish, 100% windproof option for the blustery days on the course. The FJ Performance Full-Zip Wind Jacket’s stretch fabric ensures flexibility for golfers with a DWR finish to bead away water (£70).

Joined by the FJ Performance Half-Zip Wind Shirt allowing players that extra playability with a short-sleeved style £65).

Women’s HydroKnit Jacket

FJ’s Women’s range, GolfLeisure, continues to grow with both the Full-Zip Lined Wool Blend Pullover (available in navy, charcoal, red and heather grey (£120) and a Full-Zip Knit Midlayer (available in navy, black, red and heather grey, £65). The range also includes highlight pieces: HLV2 Jacket
