SkyCaddie PRO 5X wins Today’s Golfer award

SkyCaddie’s new top-of-the-range GPS, the PRO 5X Tourbook, has picked up the coveted Editor’s Choice Award in Today’s Golfer’s latest issue.

“SkyCaddie’s PRO 5x moves things onto a new level, there are so many things it can do,” said the magazine. “It is easy to see why SkyCaddie claims the PRO 5X is as detailed as a Tour yardage book.”

With 75% of Legends Tour players now using SkyCaddie GPS in competition, SkyCaddie expects the new PRO 5X to make a big impact in professional tournaments this year.

The annual Today’s Golfer Editor’s Choice Awards showcase the best golf equipment which the magazine believes you can buy, each year. The Awards were listed in a supplement with its June 2024 issue, published in April, and golfers can also see them on www.todays-golfer.com.

“For over 35 years Today’s Golfer has been advising UK golfers on the best equipment to buy, and we are thrilled to make their 2024 shortlist with our new flagship product” said SkyCaddie’s James Holmes.

“For well over half of that time SkyCaddie has been ground-mapping golf courses to make its GPS devices the most accurate on the market. The PRO 5X is our best yet, and we will display the TG Editor’s Choice Award logo with pride on our website and in our marketing!” he said.

“We are proud to say that SkyCaddie products have won many TG Awards over the years, and the publication of each year’s list is always a significant moment in the industry. Our thanks go to Today’s Golfer Editor Chris Jones plus this year’s Awards panel members Simon Daddow, Rob Jerram and Neil Wain.”

The SkyCaddie PRO 5X Tourbook was introduced in February 2024, and retails for £399.95 including a 12-month SkyGolf 360 Birdie Membership.
