Sky to support Parliamentary Golf Group

appg website screengrabThe Parliamentary Golf Group has announced that Sky has agreed to become a supporter.

The Group, which comprises Members of all major political parties and from both Houses of Parliament, works to support the sport of golf at all levels.

Sky is Europe’s leading entertainment company, serving 21 million customers across five countries. Sky Sports provides extensive golf coverage and will this year show all four of golf’s Majors for the first time.

Claire Morgan, Public Affairs Manager at Sky, commented: “Sky is delighted to support the Parliamentary Golf Group in its role to promote the sport in Westminster and beyond. Sky Sports has a passion for golf that has spanned two decades, offering unrivalled commitment, airtime and promotion as well as multi-platform coverage. Welcoming Sky’s support, Group Chairman and Lincoln MP Karl McCartney said “I am pleased to welcome Sky as a supporter of the Parliamentary Golf Group. This support will allow the Group to provide a strong voice for the sport in Westminster, and tackle the issues that golf faces at all levels.”

The Group is open to all, and welcomes both individuals and organisations as Associate Members. Associate Members are welcome at Ordinary Meetings, held in the Palace of Westminster, as well as the Group’s Annual Dinner in the House of Lords.
