Sky Sports to broadcast Curtis Cup

Sky Sports has confirmed exclusive coverage of the ticket only Curtis Cup Match. The best women amateur golfers from Great Britain & Ireland and the USA will compete for this prestigious title over the Old Course, St Andrews, from 30 May to 1 June.

Director of Championships at the Ladies’ Golf Union, Susan Simpson said, “We are delighted to have Sky on board to cover this historic occasion in St Andrews. With ticket sales soaring, we are ready for an exciting contest.”

Coverage will include a preview feature and highlights package within the Golf Night programme.

Golf Night times are:
• Thursday Sky Sports 2  19.30-22.00
• Friday Sky Sports 2  20.30-23.00
• Saturday Sky Sports 3  19.30-22.00
• Sunday Sky Sports 3  20.00-23.00

Jason Wessely, executive producer of Golf for Sky Sports said, “Sky Sports is pleased to broadcast The Curtis Cup this year, the first to be held at St Andrews. It’s a prestigious event and one that can be added to a schedule of Ladies Golf on Sky Sports that already includes the US Women’s Open, HSBC Women’s Championship, and Women’s World Cup.
