GolfPunkhq.com has become an official media partner of the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, which takes place at Nailcote Hall from 8th to 11th August.
Tim Southwell, CEO of GolfPunk Media, commented: “We are right behind the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, as Par 3 golf, and pitch & putt for that matter, are totally part of our vision for the future of the game. We totally buy into the vision that Tony Jacklin has set out, and are delighted to be part of this great event, which is now in its 84th year!”
Benny Lawrence of Champion Brands, the organisers of the event, commented: “It’s great to have GolfPunkhq.com on board, as they can connect the event to a different audience of knowledgeable, committed and keen golfers. The event has free entry, and it’s a great way to showcase this format of the game, and get new people in the game.”
GolfPunkhq.com will be covering the event in detail, and will have a journalist participating in the event, to share the experience of what it is like to actually participate in the tournament.
Southwell added: “We totally agree with Tony Jacklin’s belief that Par 3 golf is an essential part of the future of golf. It takes the game back to its absolute essence, with a focus on short game prowess. It’s not about just bombing it.”
GolfPunkhq.com will provide daily coverage of the event, and share it with their growing audience of digital media and social followers.
