GolfNews, the UK’s most widely read golfing newspaper, has launched a brand new website to tee off the new season.
The new site – www.golfnews.co.uk – is designed as an extension of the monthly printed version of Golf News, and features a mix of news content, equipment news and reviews, interviews, travel features, competitions and course reviews.
As well as featuring an opportunity to download the latest digital version of the newspaper, the website features plenty of standalone web-only content, including time-sensitive news items, all the latest equipment launches, and exclusive interviews.
Nick Bayly, editor of GolfNews, who will also be providing content for the site, said: “We have often struggled to find space in the printed edition of GolfNews to cover news and features in the breadth and depth that I would like, so the new-look website will give us the opportunity to not only feature more content, but also to get the word out there immediately, rather than having to wait for our traditional monthly print deadlines.”
He added: “We will also be able to offer a much broader range of equipment coverage, including video content and digital galleries, so that readers that want more in-depth coverage than might be possible in the print copy can go online and find out more. The same applies to interviews and features, where will seek to offer additional content to what is available in the print copy.”
