Global Golf Post launches women’s edition

7.10pm 21st February 2023 - Media

Global Golf Post, the leading international golf news brand, is launching GGPWomen, a premium quality golf journalism platform dedicated to covering women’s golf.

“Our mission is to promote, support, and celebrate the women’s game,” said Global Golf Post Founder and Publisher Jim Nugent. “The best stories in the women’s game—competitors, innovators, and philanthropists—will be found at GGPWomen.”

This new subscription service will be offered three days per week – Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – with premium-quality stories not found anywhere else.

An all-star cast of talented journalists has been assembled to deliver this content including veteran LPGA correspondents Steve Eubanks and Lewine Mair, Great Britain’s’ pioneering female golf writer. They will be joined by longtime national golf writer Lisa Mickey, as well as Emilia Migliaccio, an aspiring golf journalist and two-time Curtis Cup team member; Julie Williams, a longtime writer at Golfweek who covered women’s amateur golf; and Brynn Walker Collins, an Epson Tour player who will write a serial feature about her quest to earn an LPGA Tour card.

“We are thrilled and honored by the support we have received from the golf industry,” Nugent commented. “The LPGA, the PGA of America, and the USGA have all expressed their support, as have two dozen state golf associations.”

GGPWomen is a subscription service priced at $60 annually or $7 monthly. It joins Global Golf Post’s two other subscription businesses: GGP+, a platform for original, premium quality golf journalism, and GGP/Biz, a golf industry news service. To access complimentary, 14-day trial subscriptions, visit www.ggpwomen.com.
