This is yet another example of the group’s commitment to providing a complete support service to members. The new site is specifically designed to cover virtually every aspect required to enable professionals to run a successful golf retail business.

The development will allow Foremost members to access essential detail, such as their Foremost Approved Supplier ‘best terms’, as well as a ‘Best Practice’ education section which will offer substantial retail strategy advice, from stock planning and return on investment, to marketing and merchandising.

Furthermore, the website will incorporate an online ‘Personal Signage Solution’ which will enable members to raise the standard of their in-store presence. This kind of essential tuition from Foremost again signifies their unwavering commitment to members and their business needs.

In addition to all of this, the new Foremost members’ trade website will provide details of important clearance and supplier offers and updates, which will permit professionals and their assistants to keep up-to-date on all the latest product launches.

Foremost Company Director, Andy Martin, showed his unequivocal excitement for the launch: “I can’t tell you how excited our professionals are over this launch. Our goal is to give them every tool possible to make their business a success, and this is another huge step in the right direction.

“The professionals I have spoken to have all expressed their delight over this concept, and we as a buying group are equally pleased with the outcome. I’m sure we’ll see some great results following the launch, in what is still an extremely difficult retail climate.”

Other flagship features include Foremost TV, which will integrate video instruction on retail and practice, among other things. There will also be a members’ board with over 1,000 profess input from over 1,000 professionals.

Again displaying Foremost’s steadfast dedication to their professionals, there new website will even feature qualified personal finance and business advice, on everything from pensions to mortgages.

Hello, for many of our competitions we give pro shop vouchers as prizes, supporting our local pro. However, I get the arguments for not giving this type of voucher:

Open competitions winners have to come back (some more than an hours drive!) to the club to redeem their prize and in the case of seniors, they already have most of the equipment anyway.

Through the foremost network could a voucher winner claim their prize at their own club and the incumbent pro ‘pay’ the issuing pro so that he doesn’t lose the business. It also takes away the return journey argument?

    Regards
