The Confederation of Professional Golf has launched a new publication called The Insider by CPG.
Available in print and digital formats, the bi-annnual publication will celebrate golf as ‘The True Sport of Business’ with exclusive interviews from some of the most influential names and voices in golf and business.
The first edition, which runs to 100 pages, features interviews with Seth Waugh, the CEO of the PGA of America; Guy Kinnings, the European Tour’s deputy CEO; and Pascal Grizot, the president of the French Golf Federation and the mastermind behind the staging of the 2018 Ryder Cup in Paris.
Other content includes a special focus on the PGA of Spain; a feature on women working in golf; an article discussing issues around diversity and inclusivity in the game, and an interview with former professional cricketer Jeremy Snape, who is now a sports psychologist.
There is also a travel feature on where to play in 2022, and an article focusing on the companies that are pushing technological boundaries in all parts of the game, from digital scoring to shot tracking and the latest equipment.
Writing in the first issue, Ian Randell, chief executive of the CPG, said: “The launch of The Insider Magazine could not come at a more pivotal and exciting moment in time for the golf industry and the wider global sports market.”
