The Asia Pacific Golf Group was granted industry-wide recognition last week when its chief executive officer Mike Sebastian was presented with the 2013 International Leadership Of The Year Award during a special award ceremony at the 2014 Club Managers of Association of America’s World Conference currently in progress in Orlando.

The award was presented to Sebastian by The BoardRoom Magazine.

In presenting the award to Sebastian, John Fornaro, publisher of BoardRoom Magazine said, “Each recipient of the BoardRoom magazine “Excellence in Achievement” award is clearly a leader in their respective industry.”

BoardRoom magazine’s industry peers and experts review and select these outstanding award winners and each year, winners are selected for overall excellence in their respective fields, achievements, innovation, vision for future growth and continued impact on private club operations.

Sebastian, in Orlando for the CMAA World Conference, described the award as a major win and recognition for the golf industry in Asia. “This is universal recognition for what Asia is doing to help grow the game of golf and I am proud to receive this recognition on behalf of everyone in the golf industry in Asia.
