PR & Marcomms specialists The Loop have moved to strengthen their team as the new year clicks into action with the appointment of Rachel Broere as Account Manager.

Broere, who will start her position with immediate effect, brings over a decade of experience working across the golf industry, with a background that includes roles with EventScotland and Scottish Golf.

Most recently, she has been working in the travel sector with boutique tour operator Bonnie Wee Golf as Marketing & Communications Manager, as a specialist in curating luxury golf tours across Scotland, Ireland and England with a diverse range of responsibilities from overseeing marketing, social media management, strategic initiatives and supplier relationships.

Alongside her professional work, Broere is also a co-founder of The Links Network, a growing community for women working in the golf industry, and last year graduated from the R&A’s Women in Golf Leadership Programme.

Her appointment follows a hugely positive first year of trading for The Loop, after the company’s launch in January 2024. Significant business wins have bolstered the agency’s client portfolio with the likes of Under Armour Golf and Fujikura, as well as a number of UK golf destinations and venues, including Ramside Hall, Dumbarnie Links and Perranporth Golf Club. Recently, the agency has announced a new partnership with luxury electric trolley brand, Stewart Golf.

Broere will support the senior management team across a wide range of The Loop’s clients. However, a key focus will be on helping to drive new business opportunities in the golf travel space, both in the UK and globally.

Alex Narey, Partner at The Loop, said: “We are delighted to have recruited someone of Rachel’s pedigree, who is so highly regarded for her strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Her knowledge and understanding of the UK golf travel sector will be a huge benefit with our vision to grow this area of our business in 2026 and beyond.

“Following a strong first year for The Loop, we are now taking the next step in our growth by appointing an experienced Account Manager. It is clear that Rachel thrives in roles where ideas need to be carefully shaped, coordinated and delivered to a high standard – and this is exactly what The Loop needs as we get things moving for what promises to be a great year ahead.”

Rachel Broere said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Loop team at such an exciting time following a year of excellent growth for the business. I’ve really admired what The Loop has brought to the market, so joining the team feels like a natural next step for me at an exciting time for the golf industry.

“Golf travel remains close to my heart and it is fantastic that The Loop is targeting this area, but I am also excited to get involved with a number of other brands, helping the company to build on the success of 2025.”

Broere will be joining The Loop team at the PGA Show in Orlando. If you would like to arrange a meeting at the show to discuss plans for 2026, please contact her directly via rachel_broere@theloopgc.com
