P2 Grips, the putting specialist brand that pioneered patented ‘Face-Square Technology’, has appointed award-winning PR, Marketing & Sponsorship agency Sports Impact to promote its advanced putter grip line-up, alongside the Trident Align ball markers and alignment products in the UK & Ireland.
The partnership will see the agency manage communications and media relations around upcoming product launches to drive awareness of the performance-enhancing products.
P2 Grips and Trident Align are designed specifically for club golfers, with product development driven by independent biomechanical testing rather than tour adoption, to deliver practical improvements on the greens.

Based in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, P2 Grips was founded by PGA Professional Enda McLoughlin in 2016 to help golfers better control their wrists and hands during the putting stroke. The Irish entrepreneur also developed the Trident Alignsystem to offer golfers an unrivalled visual aid for both on course use and practice.
“We’re very excited to partner with Sports Impact and utilise the agency’s expertise to elevate our brand and product messaging,” said Enda. “We will shortly be launching some fantastic new putter grips and with the help of the agency’s storytelling and connections we look forward to taking our business to the next level in Europe’s largest market,” he added.
P2 Grips uniquely position the shaft along the underside of the grip to reduce unwanted mobility during the putting stroke — known as ‘Face-Square Technology’. Independent biomechanical testing has validated the performance benefits of the design. Quintic Sports testing demonstrated up to a 70% improvement in putting accuracy, more consistent strike patterns, a greater percentage of putts struck from the sweet spot, reduced twisting of the putter face at impact, and lower levels of hook and slice spin. The result is more putts starting on their intended start line.

Permitted under the rules of golf by the USGA and R&A, Trident Align is the world’s first fully adjustable ball marker to provide a fast and effective way of aiming correctly on the greens. Designed for both on-course use and practice, the system helps players improve alignment and start-line consistency. The Trident Align range is supported by complementary training aids, including the Transform Putting Mirror and Tri-Roll Tour training balls which reinforce a consistent setup and stroke mechanics.
“We are delighted to engage with P2 Grips and Trident Align in the next phase of their development,” said Sports Impact CEO, Natalie Collard. “We can’t wait to kickstart our relationship with the launch of a brand-new grip line-up and highlight the technology that Enda has pioneered.”
