GMS Agency has renewed its marketing and communications partnership with Laguna Golf Phuket in Thailand, one of Asia’s premier integrated golf destinations.

As part of the new agreement, GMS will also support Laguna Golf Bintan in Indonesia, becoming the international PR and marketing partner for both properties within the Banyan Group.

Laguna Golf Phuket is known for its stunning par-71 course set among lagoons, coconut groves and mountain views, supported by the only PGA-branded golf academy in Southeast Asia, and a wide selection of resorts and wellness facilities, including Angsana Laguna Phuket and Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket.

Laguna Golf Bintan offers a coastal island experience with oceanfront holes, mature tropical parkland and a traditional Indonesian style clubhouse that overlooks the course and the South China Sea, together with an outstanding selection of hotels that includes the five-star Banyan Tree Bintan.

GMS will lead international PR and strategic consultancy for both destinations, reinforcing their presence in key golf and travel markets and supporting their long term growth objectives.

Sam Elder, Co-CEO of GMS Agency, commented: “Laguna Golf Phuket has been a valued partner and we are proud of the progress achieved together in 2025. Expanding our work to include Laguna Golf Bintan in 2026 allows us to support two outstanding destinations with strong potential for further international growth. Both offer memorable golf experiences and we are excited to continue working together and help raise their global visibility.”

Paul Wilson, Managing Director of Laguna Golf Phuket and Laguna Golf Bintan, said: “We are pleased to be working with GMS and the team has helped elevate our position in important golf markets and has a clear understanding of our ambitions in our first year working together. Renewing the partnership and extending it to Bintan reflects our confidence in this partnership and our shared commitment to growing both destinations internationally.”

This renewed partnership will help Laguna strengthen its global position in 2026, with GMS supporting the destinations through wider international visibility, stronger storytelling and a clear path to becoming one of the leading golf experiences in Asia.
