LaFinca partners with 54 to raise international profile

LaFinca, an exclusive golf and residential development situated in the heart of Madrid, has appointed sports marketing and events company 54 to help elevate its offering onto the ‘must-play’ list for global golf travellers.

Situated just 15 minutes from the centre of the Spanish capital, and featuring a portfolio of luxurious residential property and an 18-hole championship golf course and award-winning clubhouse, LaFinca has appointed 54 to mastermind its international marketing strategy, to ensure LaFinca becomes not only Madrid’s most sought-after membership, but also its premier golf tourism destination.

LaFinca’s 18-hole, 6,300-metre golf course was designed by architects Blake Stirling and Marco Martin [Stirling & Martin] and first opened for play in 2023.

The agreement will also see 54 develop LaFinca’s brand communication strategy, as it cements its place among Europe’s top luxury destinations in one of the continent’s most accessible, attractive cities.

The agreement also covers market assessments, membership rates strategy and amplifying LaFinca’s presence at international trade, tourism and golf events in 2025.

Susana García-Cereceda, President of LaFinca Group, said: “Everything we do at LaFinca is focused on creating the best possible product in the eyes of international travellers and indeed investors. LaFinca golf course is no different. We have a clubhouse and facilities like no other, and the convenience of playing minutes from the centre of the city is incredible.

“We appreciate 54 has a strong record when it comes to giving great golf clubs strategic advice and support, and they understand the international markets we would like to appeal to. We are looking forward to what we can achieve together. “

54 already boasts a number of clients on the Iberian Peninsula, including Spanish venue Finca Cortesin, and Vilamoura and Comporta Dunas in Portugal. As well as working across a broad swathe of international projects in sport, the agency is active throughout the value chain for golf destinations through its consultancy, data & insights, operations, commercial, marketing and events divisions.

Francisco de Lancastre David, 54 Executive Director, Operations, said: “LaFinca Golf has everything a golfer could wish for – convenience, exclusivity and a clubhouse and facilities which have taken design to another level, and we’re excited to help tell this story internationally.

“We work with some of the best clubs across the world, and we are confident that a venue so close to one of Europe’s most dazzling cities will soon see LaFinca become a favourite among the most seasoned golf travellers.”
