UK Golf Federation hosts successful members event at The Belfry

The UK Golf Federation’s latest GolfBIC Members event, which was held at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on October 9, saw 48 golf industry professionals, including DP World Tour Player Robert Rock, showcase the thriving spirit of the golfing community and the Federation’s commitment to fostering connections for its members and corporate partners.

The day commenced with 18 holes on the Brabazon Course, adorned with Ryder Cup collateral from its historic hosting in 2002, including the same pin positions as the Sunday Singles – setting the stage for friendly competition and camaraderie.

The winning team, comprised of Harry Boyd and Josh Henderson from Intuitive Edge Marketing, Gareth Macklin from Obbi Golf, and John Pacey from Pure Hydration.

Afterwards, attendees gathered in the Warwick Suite for a BBQ, providing a chance for players to network and discuss potential business opportunities

Highlighting the significance of the golf industry to the UK, Craig Tracey, the Conservative MP for North Warwickshire and Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Golf Group, held a compelling presentation, emphasising its wellbeing impact and financial importance on a national scale governments.
