Safety Training for Golf Clubs

8.00am 9th March 2007 - Management Topics

Little 3 Creative Solutions and UK Safety Solutions have recently launched their innovative training package – Golf Club Safety Essentials.

The inter-active CD provides a suite of courses which ensures that the club complies with its ‘duty of care’ responsibilities and that all employees within the clubhouse and golf course environment receive relevant health and safety training and any further training appropriate to their job role.

There are four Essential Courses consisting of: Health and Safety Essentials, Food Safety Essentials, Customer Service Essentials, Cleaning Essentials. The package comes complete with a course assessment questionnaire, a course certificate and a record of training for the club records. Downloadable risk assessments are included.

All golf club employees, including volunteers and casual staff, will require some training and information about health and safety and depending on their job role – training in customer service, food hygiene and cleaning and hygiene essentials. This not only ensures their protection but it helps protect the club (and its members) from costly litigation and the bad publicity that such incidents attract.

Little 3 Creative Solutions develops eLearning and training solutions for a range of industry, public sector and community organisations. UK Safety Solutions provides a total risk management and consultancy service to private and public sectors.
