Material Matters training day smlAfter six months of research, surveys and feedback gathering, Material Matters will unveil their new Training Matters programme at a taster day on 14th October 2014. Ransomes Jacobsen is proud to sponsor this event and the Training Matters programme.

“So many clubs have asked us to facilitate a new set of training events so we leapt at the chance of creating something new and innovative utilising the data gathered, and look forward to seeing the Training Matters programme develop and grow,” said MM Director Paul Mould.

A series of training events will then follow in the first quarter of 2015, dates and venues to be confirmed.

“As the premier buying group in golf, Material Matters are in an ideal position to pull together large numbers of club for very cost effective training. If they can get 10, 20 or 30 clubs to attend each session then the economies of scale make is very affordable for all – we can access top trainers at great rates,” said Marc Dryden, General Manager at Hockley Golf Club.

Windlesham Golf Club, Berkshire, will be the host venue for the taster day on 14th October, commence at 9 a.m. Ransomes Jacobsen, as part of their major focus on training for golf clubs, is the main event sponsor.

12 top class trainers will host interactive and informative high paced sessions.

Owners, General Managers, Secretaries, F&B and Course Managers have already registered for the taster day which will consist of 4 main topic areas:

“We want the training content to be innovative, hard hitting and packed full of takeaway action point’s right from the start, to aid development of people, new golfers, new revenue and business”, added Neil Dainton, Business Development, Material Matters.
