In line with the opening of The Masters, several notable speakers and dedicated suppliers were brought together on Thursday 10th April for what proved to be an exhilarating day at Windlesham Golf Club.
The event, sponsored by Greene King, Brilliant Laundry and Le Club Golf brought together speakers and suppliers aiming to target a spectrum of aspects within golf club management and improve knowledge and awareness around key supply areas, as well as providing insight into added revenue generation within an industry currently in a difficult period.
Speakers included: Paul Mould (Host, Director-Material Matters), Peter McEvoy OBE (Keynote speaker), Paul Hedges (Director, Foremost Golf speaking on retail within GCM), Paul Armitage (Director, Le Club Golf, presenting on loyalty within Golf), Robert Brewer (Royal Wimbledon GC, presenting on course maintenance).

One of the main points for discussion came from the presentation made by Paul Armitage around loyalty within golf and with his multi-national background he was able to draw upon very interesting factors around loyalty within golf as well as introducing a concept that has been a major success in France and throughout Europe, that is due to be managed by Material Matters in the U.K, touching upon the advantages and specifics of the Le Club concept in a captivating way that expressed many additional benefits of joining the concept that is inevitably due to be a major success within the UK.
