BTME in Harrogate has seen the launch of an industry wide online Golf Education and Training Calendar endorsed by Home Unions and other major golf industry associations.
There are many organisations across the golf industry who offer a range of education and training workshops and seminars to assist clubs in meeting the growing challenges of running successful businesses in an ever changing economic, legal and technical environment. These events have traditionally been delivered independently with little co-ordination resulting in clashes of dates and often duplication in the subjects covered.
The launch at of the new Golf Education Website, http://www.golfeducation.co.uk/ will now provide a ‘one stop shop’ calendar for all those working in, aspiring to work in or volunteering in the golf industry.
The website came about as a result of England Golf pioneering the creation of a Golf Education Group across all organisations providing training in GB&I, which would then coordinate education to the golf industry as a whole.
Presented in a simple calendar format the website provides easy search options and full details of education and training events for all those working in golf clubs or other areas of the golf market. Users will be able to view all events or search by topic, organiser or presenter so the results can be tailored to suit each individuals requirements.
Once a training event is selected full details including venue location, agenda, presenter and applicable CPD credits can be accessed. Any necessary booking forms can be downloaded along with the ability to pay online when required.
