GMG Plugging the gap for EV charging at Golf Clubs

2.40pm 4th February 2022 - Management Topics

GMG the buying group for golf clubs are proud to announce a new partnership with Project Better Energy to enhance the provision of the GMG Energy Club

The partnership will not only see EV Charging added to the existing GMG energy broker but also Solar PV installations and renewable heating solutions for clubhouses.

“Back in Jan 21 we circulated a survey to clubs to establish their requirements going forward, 87% of clubs that returned the survey said they felt they would need EV charging as a service for their members and visitors in the next 18 months. We have spent over 12 months researching this sector to ensure we are providing a turnkey solution for golf clubs in this growing market. The key drivers in our due diligence process were scalability, reliability and affordability and we are very confident that we have achieved all of this with our new partnership with PBE.” informs Scott Partington, GMG Director

“Added to their EV division PBE are the largest retailer of solar panels in the UK and due to the rising costs and increased environmental focus, golf clubs are now putting more and more emphasis on their energy strategy and looking at alternative sources so this fits the bill perfectly.”

GMG Energy Club work with over 500 golf clubs and the launch the new service has seen even more interest from golf clubs all over the UK.

“We are hosting a webinar on these topics next week, details and registration link are in our latest E Newsletter, all welcome!” added Scott
