Golf Environment Organization will be at Harrogate Week to debut the latest versions of the sustainability guidance and programmes that lead to the GEO Certified™ ecolabel

Sustainability in golf is attracting more interest throughout the industry as a means to save money and improve profile – while also making a positive social and environmental contribution.

As part of their efforts to make the subject easier to understand, achieve and promote, the Golf Environment Organization will be at Harrogate Week to debut the latest versions of the sustainability guidance and programmes that lead to the GEO Certified™ ecolabel.

GEO’s Chief Executive,Jonathan Smithstates: “Harrogate Week is the perfect place to share the solutions that have been built around a great deal of input on the real-world needs of course and club managers. For individual clubs and management groups, the OnCourse™ programme is designed to help the people working in golf to take the most effective, practical and visible steps around this important subject.

“In addition, we are delighted to be promoting collaboration with two of our most valued partners, BIGGA and Jacobsen”.

The GEO team invite all those interested in sustainability to visit Stand 25 in Hall B to find out more about the resources GEO offers.
