Foremost is part of a growing group of governing bodies and other interested parties who see National Golf Month as an ideal vehicle to attract new players and to entice lapsed golfers back into the game.
Participating Foremost professionals will provide new and lapsed players with a free half hour lesson as part of the National Golf Month activities while the group’s members with digital communications will also be encouraging their local club members to bring along a friend for a free shared lesson.
The latter Introduce a Friend Free Lesson Promotion is designed to increase the likelihood of a new or lapsed golfer staying in the game.
The Introduce a Friend offer will be backed by extensive digital and in-store promotion and each new or lapsed player will be offered a subsequent 6 for 5 promotion to encourage them to take a further series of lessons.

The National Golf Month promotion was instigated by the British Golf Industry Association (BGIA) and is supported by Foremost, England Golf, the Scottish Golf Union, the United Kingdom Golf Course Owners Association (UKGCOA), the Organisation of Golf Range Operators and other interested parties.
