Crownwood calls on Club Car for new cart fleet

Swedens's top-ranked club trusts Club Car to supply new fleet of customised buggies.

Crownwood Club, the Swedish private members’ club co-owned by Henrik Stenson, has chosen Club Car to supply its golf vehicles.

The stunning course on Sweden’s west coast was the highest-ranked new entry in the recently released Golf World Top 100 Courses in Continental Europe, taking 16th place just five months after opening.

Crownwood Club’s Director of Golf Fredrik Widmark praised the quality and level of service from Club Car, saying it was a ‘no-brainer’ to opt for their industry-leading Tempo golf fleet.

“The whole experience at Crownwood is extremely premium, so this is why we chose Club Car,” said Widmark. “We ordered 12 carts and we are so happy with them we have ordered six more for 2026. We were able to customise the carts exactly how we wanted, with all the top-spec features and matching our branding.

“They look amazing and have been very well received by our golfers. And operationally they are fantastic, especially having Club Car Connected technology embedded, which among other things enables us to control where the carts can and cannot go, protecting our immaculate course.”

Crownwood Club has been ranked inside the top 20 courses in Europe just five months after opening

Andrew Bourke, Club Car Regional Sales Manager for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, said: “Crownwood Club generated a lot of excitement when it was in the planning stage, and now it is open it is rightly receiving recognition and praise across the industry. We are proud that a venue of this prestige has chosen Club Car for its golf fleet.”

The innovative Club Car Tempo is the chosen golf vehicle of many of the top clubs, courses and resorts around the world.  It delivers outstanding hill-climbing power and acceleration, and has many customisable options including colour, seats, storage, wheels and programmable drive modes to maximise performance.
