The Junior Open at the ISPS Handa World Invitational Men | Women, presented by Modest! Golf is being sponsored by GOLFNOW in a further initiative to inspire families and young people to get into golf.
GOLFNOW is the global leader in online tee time technology and has supported tournament golf at Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort for the last five years. The GOLFNOW Junior Open is running alongside the main ISPS Handa World Invitational at the Interactive Zone where children aged 4-7 and 8-11 can take part in the girls and boys’ competition.
“The GOLFNOW Junior Open has evolved into a popular family event over the years and is great fun for all the family. The competition is open all youngsters, regardless of experience and is free to enter,” said GOLFNOW’s Conor Murphy.
“The GOLFNOW Junior Open is a great way to try the game before watching the men and women competing in the ISPS Handa World Invitational.
“Last year the standard of golf from the young players taking part was outstanding. I have no doubt we will see some great golf from these budding stars of the future.”
Families have a chance to win a brand-new set of junior clubs for their children. ISPS Handa World Invitational host venue Galgorm Castle will also provide a junior membership to each lucky winner.

To take part in the GOLFNOW Junior Open, simply pop along to the Interactive Zone during the ISPS Handa World Invitational where families can enjoy a free lesson from PGA Professionals, pick up the competition card from the GOLFNOW team and hit the pitch and putt course. The competition will run from today (Wednesday) to Sunday with the winners announced on the final day.
The ISPS Handa World Invitational Men | Women gets underway this morning (Wednesday 14 August) with the Celebrity Pro-am before the first round begins tomorrow at Galgorm Castle and Massereene Golf Club.
