Bundesverband Golfanlagen e.V. or BVGA (Federation of Commercial Golf Facilities) serves as a joint business platform for almost 200 golf facility entrepreneurs from five nations as well as renowned partners from the golf industry.
BVGA offers golf entrepreneurs numerous services for support and realization of their business plans on a European level. BVGA has for instance developed a corporate comparison of golf facilities to improve economic efficiency and professional management.
Since its foundation in December of 1998 this federation has been established as the central hub for Golf & Business in Germany. Motivation for golf entrepreneurs to join the circle is the exchange of business data and strategies to ensure economic sustainability of golf facilities. Moreover, with “Golfsterne” (Golf Stars) Bundesverband Golfanlagen e.V. offers a classification system with objectively measurable criteria.
This does not only provide golf courses with a clear market positioning and flawless quality management but also serves as an orientation guide for golfers in terms of service, quality and price.
Since 2011 golf course owners who also run a hotel on their course have come together under the umbrella of Bundesverband Golfanlagen e.V. in the marketing co-operation “Hotels auf dem Golfplatz” (Hotels on the Golf Course). 31 top class hotels from five countries market themselves with a high-quality brochure, an exclusive tournament series and a joint internet platform www.hotelsaufdemgolfplatz.com
