Substantial Industry Interest For PGA Show Connects

12.56pm 12th August 2020 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Since PGA Golf Exhibitions announced detailed plans late last week for the PGA Show Connects Virtual Summit, more than 650 golf industry professionals have registered for the online professional development event.

The half-day Virtual Summit, on Aug. 18, includes multiple webinars that address market trends, player development, customer experience, retail strategies and golf fashion trends. Registration is free to industry professionals at www.pgashow21.com/PGAShowConnects.

The PGA Show Connects Virtual Summit will feature many industry leaders including PGA of America President Suzy Whaley, PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh, Sports & Leisure Research Group President Jon Last and influential thought-leaders representing the best in their fields from coaching, retail, fashion and customer service.  The half-day summit will close with a fashion trends panel discussion and an engaging virtual fashion show, patterned after the successful London Fashion Week virtual event.

“We are especially pleased with the initial response to the Virtual Summit announcement from the industry over the weekend and early this week,” said PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President Marc Simon.  “The PGA Championship shined a bright light on the sport this past week, and we are all committed to working together to maximize interest in the game. A variety of golf industry experts will offer their insights and best practices to help us all adapt to these challenging times and take advantage of golf’s popularity to become stronger and better connected than ever before.”

PGA Professionals participating in the PGA Show Connects Virtual Summit are able to receive MSR Education Credits. Full details and complimentary industry registration are available at www.pgashow21.com/PGAShowConnects
