Strong UK presence at Orlando 2004

Grants are available to assist British companies wanting to exhibit at the PGA Merchandise Show in January

The US continues to be the biggest and most lucrative retail golf market in the world and the PGA Orlando Merchandise Show is the world’s most important golf trade show.
There were 11 UK companies exhibiting at the 2003 event and that number has already been overtaken for January 2004. Reed Exhibitions has opened a dedicated PGA Orlando office where, for the first time, a team has been set up in the UK to assist British companies wanting to exhibit at the US event, which takes place from 29th January to 1st February 2004.
Indy Wallace heads the team, based at Reed Exhibitions‘ headquarters in Richmond, and is already putting together the UK group for 2004. Trade Partners UK have awarded support for the show and Reed Exhibitions are working closely with SCS Exhibitions who are co-ordinating the grants. The grants cover 60% of exhibition costs up to £2,300 per company.
UK companies that have confirmed their presence include:

  • Scotland – The Home of Golf
  • Alan Paine Knitwear Ltd
  • St. Andrews Links Trust
