Show Visitors to Enjoy Kent’s Biggest Golf Giveaway

11.42am 12th November 2015 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Pentland Golf websiteIn what is believed to be the biggest golf giveaway in Kent, Pentland Golf is set to hand out more than 35,000 free rounds to visitors to this week’s London Golf Show.

With more than 7,000 advance tickets sold for the event at Glow, Bluewater, from November 13-15, Pentland Golf’s three venues – Pedham Place Golf Centre and Boughton and Etchinghill golf clubs – can expect to see a lot of new faces after the group pledged to give each visitor five free rounds of golf.

Kent-based Pentland Golf will also be offering free coaching for all show visitors courtesy of its experienced team of professional coaches, which includes former European Tour player Benn Barham, who won the Open Mahou de Madrid, in 2005.

Pentland Golf chief executive Johnathan Callister explained: “Pentland Golf is very keen to encourage people to play more golf, not just to increase participation in the sport but also to help with the population’s general fitness.

“And with a huge number of people from our region expected to visit the London Golf Show we were delighted to be able to agree a package whereby we can actively encourage them to enjoy the sport at our three Kent venues.

“What’s more, with our free coaching at the event people can begin to iron out one or two flaws before they enjoy their five free rounds. It is, as far as we are aware, a unique offer and I look forward to seeing London Golf Show visitors at Pedham Place, Boughton and Etchinghill.”

Both Pedham Place, in Swanley, and Boughton GC, near Faversham, offer an 18-hole course and a nine-hole, par-three course, while, Etchinghill, in Folkestone, has two 18-hole courses – the Leas and the Valley – and a par-three academy course.
