The Organisers of the Summit believe that not many golf clubs in Asia pay the right amount of attention to measuring and bench-marking their level and standard of service and it is their  contention that service standards across the board (with the exception of a minority of clubs) need to be addressed.

To get the ball rolling, APGS 2016 has reached out not to just another speaker. He is regarded by many as the BEST in the business. He is David Webster – a two-time Emmy Award winning actor and corporate trainer/communicator who is a grand-master on the subject of SERVICE. He is an internationally acclaimed expert on SERVICE and those who have been touched by David have walked away totally transformed for the better.

The aim of APGS 2016 is to offer insights to service that will prove to be both a revelation and a game-changer. “There is no discipline that is more demanding and challenging in this modern business era – no one can sit on past laurels because the paradigms of change in service is changing all the time and it is being driven by the consumer,” pointed out David. “This constantly moving goal post necessitates the need for service providers to be always on their feet to be responsive, creative and innovative.”

Obtaining the services of David is a major win for the Asian club industry. He is an outsider with an “insider’s” understanding of the club industry having been associated with golf clubs ever since he was a six year old. He has been witness to how service standards have evolved and he has the perfect solution on how clubs can polish up their act and keep members and customers walking through the gates again!

People who have seen David in action have been simply overwhelmed by his style, professionalism and drive. “It really was one the best couple of hours I can ever remember spending in a meeting room … you should see David Webster in action,” said Jerry Jensen Director of Sales and Marketing, Scottsdale Resort and Conference Centre.

David is so good at what he does that he left a lasting impression amongst consultants and accountants from the giant Deloitte Corporation. “You are incredible at what you do and truly display the greatest passion in your work! I am so grateful for the opportunity for our employees to experience your enthusiasm and energy!” according to Jay Bowers, Deloitte University.

APGS 2016 has hosted and staged a number of high quality speakers in the last decade but David is special because he has come at a time when clubs in Asia need to hear from a world-class expert on SERVICE.  “David is a master at everything he does and using improvisational theatrical techniques, he teaches people a formula of how to be in a good mood every day, how to head to work looking forward to any guest or member who is not happy and how to charm each unhappy guest or member to feeling positive again. One word – priceless,” is how Mike Sebastian, chief executive officer of the Asia Pacific Golf Group, the owner and producer of APGS 2016.

“Make sure that you act now and book your seat to listen to David Webster at APGS 2016. We guarantee you that it will be the best investment you make this year!” continues Mike. “Just remember that APGS 2016 is all about content and substance drawn from real world success stories and if you want to be part of a progressive and forward thinking generation of club owners, operators and managers, don’t miss the “Golf And More” spectacle!

The host city is Hua Hin, Thailand and the dates are 29 and 30 October, 2016.
