More International Speakers Confirmed At GolfBIC.online

GolfBIC.online is presented by the UK Golf Federation and OGRO – the Organisation of Golf & Range Operators – with Technology and Media partner GolfBusinessNews.com on 2nd, 3rd and 4th March 2021 with the title ‘Searching for golf’s new normal’.

GolfBIC 2021 is a joint venture with long-term partners OGRO and the UK Golf Federation joined for the first time by Golf Business News. “It will put a new vision on key industry stakeholders working together for the betterment of all our businesses and will give everyone the chance to learn new and valuable ways to grow their businesses and also understand how other major parts of the industry fit together and the issues they face in 2021,” said Doug Poole, the UK Golf Federatio CEO.

Jay Karen

Jay Karen is the CEO of the National Golf Course Owners Association in the US. Jay has chaired the board of the industry-wide coalition, ‘We Are Golf’ and served on the Golf USA Tee Time Coalition board, a joint initiative with the PGA of America, and the advisory board of the World Golf Hall of Fame.

The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CBS Radio, New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, the Golf Channel, Golf Digest, and others call upon Jay for his insights on the golf industry. Jay has also served as CEO of two associations in the lodging industry, on the board of directors of the US Travel Association, and currently serves on the ASAE board of directors. 

Elisa Gaudet

Elisa Gaudet, President- Executive Golf International, has 20 years of golf industry experience in the U.S., Europe and Latin America including executing the 2002 EMC World Cup for the PGA TOUR.

She also headed up sponsorship, marketing and PR for the Tour de las Americas (Latin PGA Tour) is experienced in TV rights negotiations, sponsorship procurement and activation, marketing, player relations, benchmarking studies and large-scale destination marketing. Elisa founded Executive Golf International, a strategy driven golf marketing firm that was responsible for creating Women’s Golf Day among many other notable projects and clients. Elisa created the strategic blueprint and founded International Women’s Golf Day, started in 2016, this global event is held on the same day (first Tuesday in June) everywhere around the world. To date over 900 locations in 56 countries have participated engaging thousands of women worldwide through the game of golf thus creating a global movement. In a historically male dominated sport, International Women’s Golf Day transcends language, culture, religion, politics and age. The ability to mobilize and scale very rapidly, 68% growth in year two, has generated significant interest from the sports and business industry.
