Major brands seize Première opportunity

12.45am 30th October 2003 - Exhibitions & Conferences

This year’s Premiere Golf show is proving a big hit with some of golf’s biggest brands as Ashworth, TopFlite and Ben Hogan become the latest names to join the list of exhibitors who will be at the Congress Palace, Marbella, on 4th to 7th November.
“The show is perfectly timed for Ashworth  to present the new and extended ladies and men’s Spring/Summer 2004 range to key trade contacts,” said Grahame Jenkins, senior European director at Ashworth. “Ashworth have been pre-booking the Spring/Summer 2004 range since 1st August and we view the Marbella based event as the perfect opportunity to meet the contacts necessary to close our pre-book with a flourish.
“Ashworth is very proud to be part of this prestigious event, as this year’s show is set to be the most successful ever, with record attendance levels and big name participants. Premiere Golf will be an important platform for Ashworth to showcase a new range, material technology and retailing opportunities on a European scale.”
Grahame continued, “This show will also give the Ashworth management team an opportunity to show their support to Douglas Pushong, their agent in southern Spain. Douglas has built a strong and loyal customer base along the Costa Del Sol over the past ten years”.
Meanwhile, Scott Lucas, managing director of TopFlite UK will also be at Première Golf to brief trade contacts on a brand new marketing support package the company is to launch for next season. “This presents us with a unique opportunity to introduce next year’s product ranges and marketing support package to key customers. The focus will be on the Ben Hogan brand which is really going from strength to strength,” he said.
