The London Golf Show hailed a ‘huge success’ by organisers, exhibitors and visitors to the show that took place at Bluewater 13-15 November raising the bar expected for future shows.

Official visitor numbers were 14,881 over three days of the show which is 15% up on the previous year’s show. The increased marketing campaign, success of the previous year and increased exhibitor support are some of the reasons for the increase. Exhibitor numbers raised from 130 to 140 packing out the Glow exhibition centre and offering the visitors a wide range of products, services and interactive features.

Simon Jones, Sales Director of The Golf Show Group said: “This year’s London Golf Show has been one of our greatest shows, the feedback from visitors has been overwhelming and exhibitors are already in contact to re book for next year.

“Exhibitors have reported increased sales, more lessons were completed by P Golf Coaching and YouTube sensations Rick Shiels and Peter Finch, donations to our charity partner The On Course Foundation increased raising £9,900 which doubles the previous year.

“The achievement of this year’s show is compliment to the effort put in by the whole team, everyone has gone above and beyond to make this show such a success. I would like to thank all our partners, exhibitors and anyone who visited the show, we look forward to welcoming you back to Bluewater in 2016.”

The Williams Racing Golf range was among many new products on show. The team was delighted to achieve brand exposure to the thousands of consumers that attended and signed an agreement with Magnolia Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club to become the first test centre in the UK where Williams Racing Golf products will be available for demonstration, testing, custom fit, Gear Fit swing analysis with the assistance of professional golf staff member Dean Davis, and retail.

The London Golf Show also featured the Golf Tourism Show, which saw exhibitors from all over the world come to meet golfers from the UK. After the success of its addition in 2014 The Golf Tourism show took a larger footprint of the show.

The London Golf Show 2016 dates are confirmed 28-30 October at Bluewater, exhibitors can reserve their space now.
