The announcement of the new venue coupled with the growing popularity of the event is exciting news for the Irish golf industry.

The event has went from strength to strength since its inception in 2014 and is now one of the most eagerly awaited events in the Irish golfing calendar, with attendees having the opportunity to test the latest equipment and accessories, take part in free lessons from PGA professionals and interact with the wide range of golf related businesses who exhibit at the event. The event also sees one lucky golfer win a £10,000 ultimate fourball prize with the 2015 winner recently jetting off to the five star Las Colinas resort in Murcia along with three friends.

Following feedback from exhibitors and event partners, the event organisers have also made the decision to move the event to 25th & 26th February to coincide with the start of the golf season; a strategy to cement the Irish Golf Expo as one of the top golf consumer shows in Europe.

Paul Shaw, Irish Golf Expo comments, “The entire team are very excited about the 2017 event and feel an international city such as Dublin is the perfect location to support the continual growth that the event has experienced since the inaugural event in 2014.

“The Citywest Hotel is the perfect venue for a golf show, boasting an 18 hole golf course, 6000 sqm of exhibition space, over 750 bedrooms and just 20 minutes from Dublin Airport and the City Centre. The decision to move the event to the start of the golf season along with the new location will provide us with the opportunity to continue growing the show year on year and move us closer to achieving our goal of being the largest golf show in Europe.”
