Inrange Golf Announced as Sponsor of Asian Golf Awards 2022

11.13am 3rd August 2022 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The Asia Pacific Golf Summit is set to take place in Vietnam which will bring together top club management and large golf corporation directors. It is the first time in its over twenty-two year history that the prestigious Asian Golf Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the golf industry in the Asia Pacific, will take on a title sponsor and they have chosen Inrange® Golf – a market disruptor in the driving range space – as their partner of choice.

Mike Sebastian, the Publisher of ASIAN GOLF, a leading international golf magazine, who is also the owner and producer of the Asia Pacific Golf Summit of which the Asian Golf Awards is a part, is delighted to have the coveted awards programme partnered with Inrange® on board.

“Inrange® is the perfect partner for the Asian Golf Awards this year. Every club and range facility in our golf-thriving region is talking about technology, and how they can best make use of it to improve their bottom line. When you look at the results Inrange® has achieved at other facilities – we know they have the secret recipe.”

The decision to be involved in this event was something that Nick Longley, co-founder of Inrange® and who will be speaking at the event, could not pass up on.

“Inrange has a very healthy development pipeline in the South East Asian region, and we see this partnership with the summit as a further step in ensuring that great operators are exposed to the opportunity to gain a step change in their revenue lines, through creating a great driving range experience. We are honoured to be a part of this event.”

Mike Sebastian continues, “APGS 2022 will mark the official launch of Inrange Golf in the Asia Pacific region. As has always been the case, APGS leads the search for knowledge in the golf industry and brings the latest and the best to the region, FIRST!

“The men who will unveil Inrange Golf are its co-founder and Chief Customer Officer, Nick Longley and Ian Blunt, its Marketing Manager. Come and listen to Nick and Ian and start your incredible journey towards transforming your driving ranges into action and fun-filled money-making facilities. The FUTURE IS NOW! Take the plunge!”

The Inrange® system consists of radar sensors placed in and around a driving range that create a series of interlocking radar fields. Once calibrated, they can determine the origin of each ball (which bay it was hit from), and track its entire flight, no matter how long or short, in real time. The resulting data is relayed either to an in-bay touchscreen or via the cloud to the Inrange® app on the player’s mobile device.

Easily covering a range of 100 bays or more, these sensors can track dozens of balls hit simultaneously, each from a different origin, and provide detailed data on speed, trajectory, path, landing point and more, to within a yard. They are impervious to all ambient conditions such as darkness, rain, mist and audible noise.

Inrange® software provides a seamless, intuitive user-experience for the player, providing real-time feedback with pro-level data and analysis, accessible via the in-bay touchscreen or on the player’s own mobile device.

The Inrange®+ and Inrange®+Courses software enables facilities to turn standard practice bays into entertainment bays, with a variety of immersive, accessible gaming options and world-class courses to play on with family and friends.
