Indian Golf Industry Association to host trade show in April

Indian Golf Expo websiteThe Indian Golf Industry Association (IGIA) has announced that a two-day trade show will be held in April to promote the economic and employment potential through development of golf courses and promotion of golf travel and tourism.

Aakash Ohri, Director, DLF and President IGIA, said, “Mega investments in golf real estate are underway or are lined up which will provide a springboard for several sectors of economy.”

The India Golf Expo returns with its fourth edition in 2015 on 15-16 April at DLF Club 5, Gurgaon.

The two day expo comprises of a conference and an exhibition featuring products and services, demonstrations. This unique show will provide ample networking opportunities over lavish buffet lunches, an industry dinner and celebrations during the entertainment evening, making IGE an exciting mix of golfing and business.

The Expo aims to bring some focus on the rapidly growing potential of the Indian Golf industry and creating more opportunities for the growth of Indian Golf. In addition to an exhibition featuring products, services and demonstrations, the IGIA and Indian Golf Union also conduct a turf care seminar for Golf Superintendents and an instructor’s conference in association with NGAI.

The two day Symposium will cover topics such as Golf Development, Golf Management, Golf Tourism and Marketing & Promotion.
