IGTM 2009 set to be a sell out show

Reed Travel Exhibition’s International Golf Travel Market, taking place in Malaga from 16-19 November 2009, is set to be a sell out show with 90% of all exhibition space already booked.

In addition, over half of all buyer places have been filled with the total number of buyers signed up at present being 155. Buyers will be coming from all over the world, with the majority from Europe but strong representation also from USA, Singapore, China, Dubai, South Africa and Australia.

An impressive 45 countries have signed up for exhibition space, with representatives from over 450 golf resorts, hotels and incoming suppliers. IGTM 2009 will provide an ideal platform at what is considered the ideal forum to help the industry come together and discuss solutions to overcome the current economic climate.

Several destinations are having pavilions for the first time, including France, which will be showcasing over 16 of the top golf resorts and clubs from around the country, and the UAE, which will have a pavilion for resorts and clubs from Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi.

The Spanish regions of Andalucía, Valencia, Murcia, Balearics, Canarias and Cataluña will also have their own pavilions. Other markets that have strong participation include Algarve, Lisbon Golf Coast, Egypt, Turkey, Scotland & Morocco.
