EIMA is a major event in the European machinery show calendar regrouping Agriculture, gardening, engines, parts etc. and used as a platform for Gianni Ferrari for introducing new ideas for the following season.

This was certainly the case this year, with the star of the show undoubtedly being the new concept electric mowers.

Not yet in Gianni Ferrari colours, the new GSM, GTM and GSR electric mowers caused quite a stir in their grey and black livery. Run on Lithium rather than lead batteries, they offer a fantastic, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional professional mowers.

Less noise, fewer emissions, easy maintenance, uncompromised performance: These latest concept machines are ticking all the right boxes.

Patrick Ripley, UK sales manager for Gianni Ferrari, is clearly optimistic about the potential future of these electric machines, stating: “It’s a very exciting development.”

“The electric mowers will definitely have a place,” says Patrick, “and it’s brilliant to see the work and development going on. In the meantime we will be looking at securing sales in the UK for the established models such as the T4’s and T4 cruisers and in particular we are excited about the new Turbo Z.”

Gianni Ferrari will be exhibiting the new Turbo Z 322 Diesel at BTME for the first time.

The new Turbo Z 322 D has many additional benefits to its petrol equivalent, such as:

It is also compatible with the new 132 cm Dual-Cut™deck which allows the operator to switch between mulching mode and rear discharge mode in one simple move.
