Foremost Golf backs Golf Foundation

The Golf Foundation has been given a stand at GTEC06, the new national golf trade exhibition and conference, which takes place from October 31st to November 3rd, at The Telford International Centre.

Foremost Golf has nominated the Golf Foundation as its chosen charity this year for GTEC06, the new national golf trade exhibition and conference, run by Foremost, that is designed to meet the needs of all golf professionals.
The Golf Foundation has been given a stand at the four-day golf trade show, which takes place from October 31st to November 3rd, at The Telford International Centre. The grass roots development charity will use the event to promote its important initiatives in schools, clubs and community groups, which are all designed to give access to golf for more children, from all backgrounds.
In addition, Foremost Golf has pledged £10,000 to the Golf Foundation, the majority of which is expected to be raised at the event’s Gala Dinner.
Paul Hedges, managing director of Foremost Golf and Alliance, said, “Having been a PGA member for 30 years and experiencing the great work the Golf Foundation has done for juniors during that time, I am delighted to nominate them as our preferred charity at GTEC06.”
Mike Round, chief executive of the Golf Foundation, added, “Foremost Golf has been hugely generous with this significant support for our work in junior golf development. We believe this event, which will be attended by golf professionals from all over the country, is an excellent opportunity to showcase all our work and to communicate to professionals how they can help with grass roots golf and how this work can have benefits for them.”
