IOG SALTEX 2012 (www.iogsaltex.co.uk) will be held on 4-6 September at Windsor Racecourse, just west of London, and will embrace fine turf and sports surfaces, turf maintenance equipment, children’s outdoor play and safety surfacing, landscaping, contractors, commercial vehicles, outdoor leisure and facilities management, as well as software and security equipment.
The show is attended by open space management professionals and contractors – from groundsmen and greenkeepers through to play officers, architects, designers and surveyors as well as local authority and outdoor leisure facility managers
With over 300 companies occupying virtually all available exhibition space, and hundreds of visitor pre-registrations being received every day, the forecast is set fair for a successful IOG SALTEX.
Olympic and Paralympic events at Windsor Racecourse have this year meant dramatic changes to the traditional IOG SALTEX show layout – but the event’s organiser, the IOG, says visitors and exhibitors will certainly benefit from the changes “and we are all looking forward to another successful show where visitors will be able to see, touch and discuss all the tools and techniques needed to make their jobs more effective and efficient”.
Among the thousands of products being displayed and demonstrated – many of them new – will be all the machinery essential to sports turf management and maintenance, as well as equipment and exhibits dedicated to the play, landscape and arboriculture sectors, for example.
To add value to visitors’ attendance, there’s an informed (and free) education programme that addresses all the ‘hot issues’ of the day, plus special feature attractions including the just-announced Landscaping Gold, the Polaris 4 x 4 track and the Olympic turfcare machinery heritage display.
Even the weather forecasters are predicting ‘a good deal of fine and dry weather’ for this year’s IOG SALTEX www.iogsaltex.co.uk
