The HSBC Golf Business Forum will, for the second year running, recognise the industry’s most creative and dynamic individuals, companies and initiatives by presenting an award for innovation at the annual HSBC Golf Business Forum to be held at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai, from 1st-4th November 2015.
The competition is open to all in the golf industry who believe they can demonstrate how their ideas or concepts have created game changing or ground breaking activity, whether as a start-up, an individual or an established corporation. The award gives professionals a chance to be identified by their peers and recognised by industry experts from more than 40 different countries when the golfing world descends upon Shanghai in November.
Tony Judge, founder of ‘ClubstoHire’, who won the 2014 Innovation Award commented ‘Winning the 2014 HSBC Golf Business Forum Innovation Award was a real shot in the arm for our business. The award got excellent coverage in the golf community and many of our peers contacted us with lots of encouraging comments. Winning the award was proof that we are supplying a product and service that is well appreciated in the golf market and used by both industry players and the travelling golfer. The award gave us fantastic global coverage and assisted in growing our business by 30% year on year.’
Innovation is a key pillar of the Forum and the inclusion of an award that focuses on those excelling in the subject matter will only add to the significance and emphasis of the topic at the event.
Entries and nominations must be submitted by Friday 18th September 2015 (17.00 GMT), the winner will receive an invitation to participate to this year’s HSBC Golf Business Forum including registration, flight, accommodation, media interviews and will also be invited to collect the award on stage.
